Poplar has been underway with an extensive programme of improvements including landscaping and restocking of fish.

New swims have been thoughtfully installed to improve fishing positions and create some social swims for anglers as well, with the overall lake having been designed as a runs water.

Poplar has also received 120 Super Simmo Carp to strengthen the overall population. This lake now holds over 200 carp, with fish into their mid-30s.

Poplar will open from March 2026 for day ticket anglers to book on, we think this will be an exciting option for both pleasure anglers and those seeking some special specimens.
